My affiliation with a global luxury travel network gives me preferred access to leading properties and cruise lines around the world, including brands like Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Mandarin Oriental, Silversea, and Regent Seven Seas. Whatever destination or brand you have in mind, chances are I have a direct line to it.
What hotel and cruise brands do you work with?
Generally, the sooner the better, so you can take advantage of the widest availability at the best rates. For more immersive experiences like European travel, African safaris, expedition cruises, etc. I recommend reaching out at least 12-18 months in advance. Sun and sand escapes can often be planned six months out. Of course, I can help with last-minute trips as well!
How far in advance should we begin planning my trip?
While credit cards and hotel programs may offer perks, they don’t offer the personal touch. I give you both. For example, my relationships with trusted travel partners let me pass along your preferences, quickly resolve any issues that arise, and make sure you're well taken care of during your stay.
Plus, I take the time to learn you and your preferences, and then match you to the properties and experiences that are the best fit—so you get the “perk” of a tailor-made journey.

What destinations can you plan trips to?
Yes. KD Travel Design is an independent affiliate of Brownell, a Virtuoso Member. Brownell is the oldest continuously operating travel company in the U.S., founded in 1887, and its Virtuoso affiliation gives me access to a global network of preferred hotel, cruise, and tour partners. Through these relationships, I'm able to secure benefits for you like room upgrades, resort credits, and early check-in or late check-out, often at no additional cost (subject to availability).
