My clients measure a great year in the trips they’ve taken, and the memories they’ve made.
When they hop on a flight, they’re not just “taking a trip.” They’re making an investment, in their time, their relationships, and their own desire to explore and engage with the world around them.
I don’t take that lightly. I treat every trip I design for my clients with the care it truly deserves—so they reap a return on their travels that lasts far longer than when the flight lands back home.
Through KD Travel Design, I work with clients who approach travel the same way—as one of the best ways to share experiences and create memories with the loved ones they cherish most.
I draw on my decades of experience producing large corporate events to ensure your own memory-making travels are seamless, because I believe every detail matters. Additionally, through my own extensive travel background (26 countries and counting!) and global partner network, I’m able to bring insider recommendations and experiences you can’t find anywhere else.
The result? A trip that’s as singular as you are—and a lifetime of journeys designed around you.
From Portugal to Tanzania, travel has long played a big role in my life—and it has shaped my family’s favorite memories. Early on, my husband and I decided that we wanted to prioritize travel for ourselves and our kids. We’ve found that travel just provides so many life lessons, like how to be patient, how to listen and learn from people who don’t look or sound like you, and how to pivot when things don’t always go according to plan (because travel can definitely throw you a curve ball or two!).
Now that our kids are young adults themselves, travel is still the thing that brings us together. Life gets hectic and we all now live states apart—but planning and taking a trip built with intention gives us that concentrated time together that we crave so deeply.

A tough call—but the most expansive trip I’ve been on was my journey to Tanzania and Rwanda.
Morning coffee (my favorite thing to do in a new city is experience the local coffee shops), and local wines and specialty cocktails to wind down.
Instead of the popular packing cubes, I roll everything tightly and fit it into all the crevices of my suitcase, maximizing every inch of space.
You’ll find me outside golfing, hiking, or biking—though I prefer to sleep indoors unless it’s glamping! I also love yoga (taught for 8 years) and a good book.
I work with clients who have high standards, little time, and want an expert they can rely on, for every trip. I know the right questions to ask and have the right connections to build something exceptional, just for you.
